Confirmation

Confirmation is a focused time of learning and experiencing the Christian Faith in the life of a young person. Offered every other year to 7th & 8th grade students, the confirmation program integrates classroom and experiential learning. In any given year the students may find themselves studying the bible and church history; as well as, going on retreat,. attending different kinds of worship (Christian or other World Religions), meeting other confirmations, and serving the poor to name a few...

The purpose of the program is to give young people a deeper look at their faith with an eye to answering two questions; First, Do I want to accept my baptismal vows for myself? (or become baptized if I have not). Second, do I want to become an active disciple serving Christ through this local church? The program begins in September and concludes in May on the years that it is offered.
