Communion is not intended to be a meal of food, but of spiritual nourishment. We take food to make our bodies strong; at Emanuel we feed our spiritual selves through tangible and intangible consumption.
THROUGH OUR VOLUNTEERISM
- The Gathering, a hot meal program
- Serving at the Guest House homeless shelter
- Donating to Friedens and New Berlin Food Pantries
- Participating in the Interfaith Crop Walk in Milwaukee
- Co-hosting the Red Cross Blood Drive with our outreach Park’s Edge Preschool
- Providing gifts at Christmas for the Southwest Interfaith Older Adult Program
We feed, through God’s grace, those in need with our support of these programs and by volunteering our time, energy and gifts. We strengthen, with the love of Jesus, the body of the Christian society.

THROUGH OUR OUTREACH MINISTRY PARK’S EDGE PRESCHOOL
Emanuel United Church of Christ has been a part of the Hales Corners Community for over 100 years. The members of Emanuel United Church of Christ believe that a safe, loving, high-quality, professionally staffed child care center is essential to the long-term good of the Hales Corners Community, combined with the belief that child care is strengthened by the additional element of Christian values.
Park's Edge Preschool is an outreach program of Emanuel United Church of Christ. Park's Edge Preschool is evidence of Emanuel's continuing commitment to serve the people of Hales Corners and other nearby communities. Park's Edge Preschool provides an outstanding program whose goal is to develop the whole child: physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, morally, and spiritually.
